I am recruiting for a Marketing Specialist on a 12 months FTC on behalf of my client - a marketing leading technology provider.

Client Details

My client is a market leader in the supply of technology into the financial services market. They work with major brands including LV, Hood Group and many other reputable insurers.


* Creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, responsible for lead generation - managing campaigns, reporting, consistent reviews of campaign effectiveness and making required tweaks to ensure a positive outcome.

* Prominent part of the role is stakeholder management both internal and external which includes suppliers and clients at all levels up to Director.

* Working closely with the internal Marketing and Comms team such as Digital Marketing and Web Design to ensure projects are completed with the assistance of multiple parties.

* Internal stakeholders are a wide range - therefore communication skills are key to this role.

* External suppliers include printers, designers, collateral suppliers etc so there is a need to keep good relations with these suppliers who have worked with the client for some time. However, the applicant may get involved in some negotiation of prices, dependant on the campaign.

* Must be able to write copy and understand the insurance & software market quickly.

* Responsible for the Magazine publication which is released every 6 months - the successful candidate will manage the articles liaising closely with internal and external colleagues often writing and checking articles. Deal with clients such as LV, Hood Group etc over advertising in the magazine and agreeing price or liaising with the Account Management team if we have agreed a deal.

* Campaign Data Management - how to cleanly store data, using it wisely and maintaining it, i.e. keeping data relevant in CRM is essential whilst making sure all notes are recorded.

* Success measures - consistent marketing leads and assisting the business to bring in a new customer base.



* Worked/working in a similar role managing campaigns, using email marketing software, CRM systems, social media, offline and online end-to-end campaigns.

* Copywriting skills inc. blogs, emails and articles.

* Internal and external stakeholder management - confident to push back on content or requests that come through.

* Workload management experience.

* Supplier management experience.

* Financial Services background ideally Insurance.


* If they have had experience of writing newsletters

* Can look at Agency background but this role would benefit someone from a more corporate communications background so skills are directly transferable.

* Global marketing experience.

Job Offer

Basic salary c£30,000
