Job Title: Sales & Marketing Administrator

Location: Gargrave, North Yorkshire, BD23

Salary: Competitive

The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of innovative injection molded plant propagation trays.

Job Role:

The role encompasses a wide variety of sales, marketing and basic IT functions to assist the Marketing Manager and the Sales Team in executing the day to day Sales & Marketing Plan.

The successful candidate will be creative, outgoing, hands-on, and enthusiastic to learn new skills. They must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work confidently on their own but also effectively as a team on larger projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Market & customer research

o Both customer and competitor research.

o Targeted market/sector research.

o Initiating telephone contact with prospective customers.

o Qualifying sales leads for the sales team.

* Day to day data management of the company's bespoke CRM system

o Data entry, management, optimising & analysis.

o Ensuring accurate customer/potential customer records.

o Sample and production stock levels.

* CRM user support

o Telephone, email & skype support to employees and remote overseas sales agents.

* Assisting the Marketing Manager with varied marketing tasks

o Email campaign design & implementation.

o Expanding & updating the company's online presence.

o Advert and editorial design both online and in print.

o Print design.

o Exhibition organisation.

* Support the Sales Team with day to day customer enquires

o Reply to website enquiries.

o Discuss customer's requirements.

o Send out quotes.

o Arrange samples.

o Get freight requests.

* Exhibitions - help to organise.
* Support the other members of the Management Team with ad hoc duties as required.

Key Requirements:

* Must be computer literate.
* Accurate and efficient typist.
* Experience using online search engines effectively and extensively.
* Experience in using CRM systems.
* Experience with Microsoft Office essential.
* Good maths and English skills.
* Must be an excellent communicator.
* Comfortable in phoning customers.
* Be willing to learn new skills.
* Must be able to multi task and adhere to deadlines.

Beneficial Skills:

* Experience working in a sales environment.
* Experience in marketing or design.
