Calling all Experienced Marketing Managers. Are you looking for a varied position whereby you can utilise your skills?

Reed Marketing are working exclusively with an organisation around the Maidstone area who are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join their new team in their new office.

This is an exciting opportunity as the organisation have not long been in this location long and are growing from strength to strength!

As the Marketing Manager you will manage the day-to-day marketing and communication activities that drives sales. You will implement integrated strategies and campaigns that increase the external profile and reputation of the company through a range of initiatives to include digital, PR, media, promotional activity and internal communications.

You will work alongside the Director and will advise on and develop the marketing communication needs of customers ensuring the company's performance is maximised while ensuring the needs of clients, internal and external, are constantly considered.

You will also manage a Digital Marketing Executive and will be responsible in mentoring and performance management.

Typical Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of marketing and communications activities
actively take part in the forward planning process and ensure all key marketing and business development requirements and activities are included in the marketing plans
- To support and manage relevant integrated, design and third party agencies in the delivery of campaigns
- To remain at the forefront of current developments and trends with regards to marketing channels, tools and techniques - ensuring that campaigns are consistently fresh, innovative and engaging.
- To produce, design and edit a range of marketing collateral.
- To support the organisation in maximising sales & business development opportunities
- To develop and implement a strategy to manage all external relationships
- To increase the company's profile by developing relationships and networks that build reputation and profile with external customers and providers
- To support and implement media and communications strategies
- To create and develop digital marketing plans to maximise the potential of emerging channels to achieve business development objectives.
- To plan, deliver and evaluate effectiveness of proactive and reactive digital activities including web, social media and other digital channels.
- To supervise the work of the Digital Marketing Executive in the day-to-day management of digital channels to ensure marketing content remains relevant

- You will be educated to degree level or equivalent
- Ideally have a professional qualification in Marketing
- At least 5 years experience in marketing and communications
- Strong Communication skills - to liaise with colleagues, suppliers
- Strong Organisational Skills - able to work to deadlines
- Will be happy to travel every now and then between sites for meetings

This is a highly autonomous role which will be very hands on, you will need to be happy managing a Digital Marketing Executive and working on your own initiative and with minimal supervision.
