Commercially savvy, passionate about brands, highly results-oriented - with brand marketing and/or trade/customer marketing experience, this could be the ideal role for you.  Working for one of the UKs best-known brand owners, you will take on a portfolio of much-loved, but relatively smaller brands for the business, with a remit to drive growth via highly-targeted consumer and trade activity; at the same time maximising the profit potential through value engineering, full P&L ownership and some NPD.  Your remit will span all aspects of marketing from agency management and brand strategy, through to consumer insight and NPD pipeline development.

In what is a very hands-on role, we're looking for someone who can immerse themselves in the business, gaining a deep understanding of our customers, shoppers and consumers.  You'll work alongside the commercial and operations teams, and will enjoy a high level of ownership and autonomy, able to ‘run' this part of the business and have the opportunity to deliver great results that make a real difference to the future of these brands.

What we're looking for

This is a role for a flexible and adaptive thinker with real breadth; someone who is comfortable presenting 3 year brand plans to the Exec Team and proposing blue-sky ideas in the morning, followed by managing packaging initiatives and probing on the detail around a P&L in the afternoon!  You could be a commercially astute brand marketer or brand literate trade marketer, but either way, you'll be a proactive, go getting problem solver who can build, secure buy-in for and execute creative solutions that will grow the bottom line for the brands.
