The mission of the Product Manager is to facilitate in the development, implementation and assessment of brand visions, strategy, innovation and activation for this iconic brand to help ensure that all marketing and sales objectives are achieved and as such stimulating brand growth.

Description

Some of the main tasks will include:

* Help establish the brand positioning and marketing strategy within the portfolio with focus on:
*

* Positioning and communication development; Below the line, Out of home and digital
* Product and package development, assortment management and project planning

* Help develop consumer marketing activity for the brand
* Support the Sales function by facilitating in achieving brand and portfolio objectives
* Work with relevant agencies and Trade Marketing colleagues to develop sales and marketing literature to support product launches and promotional campaigns
* Analyse sales data from various sources to be used in sales presentations
* Conduct store visits in the UK market with and without Sales Team to identify improvements and new opportunities for the brands


Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in the creative and production process, design and implementation, research and development
* Strong analytical skills, a good understanding of the advertising/agency process and the ability to plan/measure and execute marketing campaigns and strategies.
* High level of personal organisation
* Understanding of product marketing and good experience in managing the marketing of a product and liaising within teams and external communications agencies ATL/BTL
* Experience with data systems, preferably IRI, YouGov
* Fluent spoken and written English


With preference for:

* 2 to 3 years' experience in product management within FMCG
* Creativity mixed with an aptitude for data analysis
* Enthusiastic character that is keen to learn
* A flexible outlook is essential
* Ability to provide solutions to problems
* Team player, with ability to work on own initiative
* Ideally demonstrable experience of working within Uk trade i.e. Grocery, Convenience, Discounter
