Senior Advertising Designer (New York)
Our client is one of the most successful and awarded Advertising Agencies, they are currently at capacity and due to an increase in business they have opened a New York office to initially service one of their major clients.
At this point the agency only has a digital designer in pace who would be taking designs from whoever joins and heads up the design team. The role is initially a lead designer position, but as the agency grows and new clients are brought onboard this could easily become Head of Design. The agency really want a bit of a maverick that can shake up the work, but equally there's a lot of bread-and-butter work so the person joining will have to look at the bigger picture and get stuck in at the early stages. All design work needs to be taken to master artwork level, thereafter they have an implementation agency onboard will do all the artwork from there. The role will also require you to be client-facing so they need someone sensible and mature who can talk at board level with the possibility of you also being required to go on shoots and also be confident when positioning your ideas to senior creatives, clients and directors.
Salary $85,000pa (circa £70k) + relocation package.
This is a rare and very exiting opportunity where you can join the embryonic stages of one of the best agencies new offices. At this point the London office is bursting at the seems with work (and awards!) and there's no doubt that the NY office will follow suit.
We are specifically looking for senior designers with a solid background at a leading Advertising Agency. You must understand how ad campaigns/ATL projects work, the pace of work and the nuances which come with them. We will also be looking to see how you personally can shape the work and project your own personal style.
