I am working for one of the country's best know and most trusted financial services brands. They hire excellent, innovative and motivated people into the business and are now looking to add a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to the business in London. This person will be joining the digital marketing team and will be responsible for driving sales of products through various digital channels.

Client Details

The brand relaunched their Financial Services offering less than a year ago and now offer a range of Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Savings and Mortages to consumers across the UK. The business has ambitious plans to grow in the future and are currently looking to hire a Senior Digital Marketing Executive into the team. They are looking to hire a commercial and sales-driven individual who can drive acquisition through digital channels such as PPC, SEO, affiliates and aggregators.


Responsibilities of the Senior Digital Marketing Executive:

  • Develop, implement and manage channel marketing plans to deliver business plan volumes and value targets both online and offline:
  • Work closely with the Digital teams to ensure PPC, Content, SEO and Social Media are optimised and delivering against both volume and value targets
  • Work closely with the Customer Comms team to deliver targeted and engaging offers to our existing Member base through a number of channels including Direct Mail, Email and Social Media and other Member contact points and journeys
  • Own and grow mutually beneficial relationships with Aggregators (such as MoneySuperMarket and uSwitch) and Affiliates (via our affiliate network)
  • Work closely with the Analytics and Insights team to deliver accurate, insightful and actionable Management Information
  • Determine the optimum approach for delivery of the channel plans through a rigorous test and learn programme to constantly improve the effectiveness of each channel
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns and make appropriate adjustment where required in order to achieve targets and make the appropriate return on investment
  • Act as the key liaison with operational teams
  • Manage the delivery and implementation of new product launches in-line with agreed marketing plans and budgets
  • Manage and continuously improve the relationship with colleagues within external partners ensuring marketing plans are delivered to agreed timescales and enabling strong relationships at all levels with key stakeholders
  • Own and manage individual channel budgets in-line with agreed marketing plans and take accountability for its marketing effectiveness
  • Ensure that all programmes and activities relating to campaigns meet all regulatory, compliance and internal audit requirements, having due regard for relevant statutory authorities and requirements - e.g. FCA, OFT, Consumer Credit Act

  • Ability to work in a partnership environment
  • creating and briefing marketing campaigns in a competitive environment for customer acquisition, retention and cross-sales delivering multi-channel marketing plans (online and offline) including delivery to agreed targets and budgets
  • Understanding of key direct marketing techniques, customer data analysis and segmentation with good knowledge of on-line conversion and ROI metrics
  • Good working knowledge of legal/regulatory and compliance issues and requirements
