Your new role
Working with the Head of Public Affairs your role will be to deliver a response service for parliamentary and senior stakeholder correspondence. You will support the delivery of the public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies through reports and written correspondence. Working with the localised Public Affairs Officers you will set objectives and build strong relationships to ensure a flow of information across the organisation to support the public affairs activities and wider corporate affairs programme. As Public Affairs Manager you will manage and deliver responses to correspondence from senior stakeholders to the business leadership team.

What you'll need to succeed
As Public Affairs Manager you must have experience of managing briefings and correspondence to senior stakeholders. You will have experience of working with financial, technical and policy concepts to deliver accessible and accurate briefings and written correspondence. You will also be persuasive and have a strong ability to influence others and exceptional communication skills with an ability to adapt your style to different audiences. Experience of working in a public centric role is a must, ideally within Government, Local Council, Public Agencies, Utilities or Infrastructure.
