Advertising & Media Manager - FMCG client-side
£40k-£45k + package

Our client is a leading packaged FMCG foods company with a commitment to personal growth and development, and excitingly, we are now looking to hire an Advertising & Media Manager.  This role sits within the European Marketing team and so the remit of the role spans further than just the UK.  This is a lovely broad role for someone either agency side looking for a client side opportunity, or perhaps a Brand Manager who is keen to try something different.  Whatever your background, it is necessary to have a solid understanding of marketing ATL services and media planning, as well as experience in creative production.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Advertising in annual planning.
  • Support marketing strategy group wide - across media and creative.
  • Support production investment and efficiency planning and delivery.
  • Stakeholder management; develop strong, long term, collaborative relationships with internal customers and agencies to develop category management solutions appropriate and aligned to current and future needs.
  • Negotiations with agencies including fees, production and related services.
  • Support and drive centralised media reporting, auditing and tracking of performance (cost, quality, service).
  • Support digital buying and related digital sourcing ie SEO, social, implementation of ROI models.
  • Support and drive any sourcing strategies to identify strategic fit agencies to meet business requirements as well as business transition plans.
  • Support and drive best practice/best in class initiatives/new/revised operating models across creative, media and other identified areas.
  • Attend internal/external meetings/market reviews as fit with role and agreed with Head of Advertising.
  • Develop strong understanding of the company's policies and procedures, as well as local market regulations, to appropriately mitigate risk/exposure.
