An international food manufacturer is looking for a National Account Executive to work on developing national accounts, selling into top 4 grocers.

They are looking for an experienced Account Executive / Account Manager to develop long term relationships with new and existing clients.

You must have a track record in fresh food products and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the retail market and have worked with internal stake holders in manufacturing and new product development.

As the Drinks National Account Executive, you will:

-Ideally have some working knowledge of the Drinks sector, though this is not a pre-requisite
-Have a proven track sales record in a similar role within FMCG
-Have strong communication and negotiation skills
-A track record of developing strategies for individual accounts that have result in increased revenue streams
-Have strong numeracy and analytical skills with an eye for detailYou will:
-Maximise the range of products listed within each account
-Agree profitable promotional program in line with the overall product plans

As the successful National Account Executive it is likely that you will have a strong FMCG background & may be looking for your next progression role within a blue chip organisation.
You will need commercial acumen, with numeracy skills and familiarity with budgets and P&L.
Ability to present, influence & negotiate at board level & a proven track record of profitable sales delivery.
Candidates should be educated to degree standard or equivalent
