The Events & Marketing Executive will be required to support the Marketing and Communications team with various day-to-day marketing activities, with a specific focus on events. This will include helping to plan, deliver and evaluate a range of high quality events including seminars, trade shows, industry exhibitions and webinars.

The Events & Marketing Executive will be responsible for:


To support the Events & Marketing Manager in the planning and delivery of events.

* To support the Marketing and Communications team with all other marketing tools, including advertising, PR, direct mail, social media, email, website, printed materials and promotional materials.
* To conduct risk assessments whilst at events and take any necessary action to ensure the Health & Safety of staff, visitors and suppliers

* To provide additional administrative support to the Marketing department, including supplying data, managing the customer database and updating subscription lists.

* To evaluate, compile and distribute after-show reports.

* To monitor competitor activity and compile reports on the findings.

* To manage relationships with various suppliers (design agencies; stand build agencies, venues etc).

* To safely and responsibly drive the marketing events commercial vehicle to and from venues

* To deal with general marketing enquiries and provide cover for other members of the Marketing and Communications Team, in their absence.

To undertake any other duties from time to time, within their competence, as required by the Events & Marketing Manager.


The ideal candidate for this position must obtain the following:


Bachelors' degree with a significant marketing, business or events focus, or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing or Institute of Direct and Digital marketing)

Experience within the events management industry or events-based marketing

General offline marketing skills (printed materials, design, direct mail, events, adverts)

Full, clean, valid driving licence

Excellent inter-personal skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident and assertive

Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint)

Job Offer

This role offers a basic salary of up to £22,000 (dependent on experience)
