Marketing Communications Coordinator required for a leading manufacturer

Client Details

Our client is a leading manufacturer of niche industrial products in the South West. An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join the team to develop and implement a marketing communications plan for end markets and channels to meet revenue/sales goals.


The Marketing Communications Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing Communications and will be responsible for researching, analysing, developing and implementing the marketing communications plan in line with our client's global marketing plan. This position will support Product Management and Sales in marketing and communication initiatives, together with the development of tools and processes to facilitate eBusiness communication.

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop and implement the brand blueprint for all electronic and printed materials

* Gather and analyse business intelligence through market research and surveys

* Make recommendations regarding new developing markets and potential new product opportunities

* Design and creation of custom graphics

* Identify market trends to ensure our client remains competitive and meets customer needs

* Provide input to and help develop with Product Management the appropriate marketing communications programme for key verticals, including new product launches, literature, demos, training, advertising, press releases, technical articles, trade shows, internet, social media, customer newsletter etc, to drive consistent above market level brand growth and profitability

* Work with the Product Managers to help define and communicate the company's value propositions for each product within each vertical

* Share and advocate the customer's point of view by gathering voice of the customer (VOC) data and analyse customer reactions to new product introductions/trials and gaps in the product offering

* Implement the company's press release campaigns to align press releases and articles with the journal contents

* Co-ordinate the development, production and distribution of marketing, technical and promotional materials, including electronic communications, print collateral and advertising

* Support the Sales teams by developing creative sales presentations and training tools that differentiate our market-based solutions; and support client specific branding

* Develop the web presence to ensure all information is up-to-date and aligns to the marketing communications plan


The successful Marketing Communications Coordinator will have:

* A proven track record in marketing communications

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* The ability to build relationships at all levels

* A proven track record using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

* The ability to project manage and work to deadline

* Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Confidence and drive to achieve

* The ability to work with minimum supervision

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
