This organisation is looking for a Trusts and Major Donor Officer to join their team in North London.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Work predominantly across Trusts & Foundations, with a small amount of Major Donor fundraising to maximise income
* Create and deliver attractive proposals to potential funders
* Provide excellent stewardship to all supporters
* Produce a detailed plan to ensure that applications are submitted on time and work is completed accurately
* Develop relationships with potential supporters that are long lasting and encourage regular giving to support the charity's projects
* Identify and apply for new funding opportunities
* Produce compelling applications for all donors
* Liaise with a range of prospective donors
* Work with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders
* Attend various events as directed by the fundraising management team


Profile

Person Specification:

* Experience of working in trust fundraising
* Experience of securing medium to large gifts
* Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders from a variety of different backgrounds
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A desire to make a difference to the lives of animals
* Excellent presentation skills
* Ability to engage a variety of donors and network with appropriate stakeholders
* Ability to analyse information and translate it into actionable research in which to devise a bid from
* Experience of MS Office
* Enthusiastic approach to fundraising
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team


Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £28,000-£30,000.
