Initially a 6 months fixed-term contract, our client will be looking to see if you have the mettle, ambition and vision to move into a Head of Marketing role quickly.

Strategic leadership role with a focus of strategy, planning and brand activation across a dynamic and fast-paced multi-channel consumer business.

Description

Taking full ownership for Marketing Campaign Strategy, Brand Activation and Strategic Brand Planning, you will ensure:

* Team of two marketing executives are effectively managed
* Create marketing strategy at a senior level for the business
* Work closely with the CEO and MD to ensure that the brand activation campaigns are thoroughly developed ahead of the curve and strategically develop with insight
* Work closely with external agencies to brief and develop exciting and innovative creatives
* Develop relationships with industry bodies, brand ambassadors and create sponsorship opportunities
* Work closely internally with Sales, Digital & Ecommerce and NPD to ensure that the business is full developed in step with a wider commercial view
* Act as a lead for the marketing functions on the senior leadership team


Profile

You will have a background in Consumer marketing, client or agency side:

* Creative agency briefings
* Writing marketing strategy
* Brand activation across multi-channel, both major retail, independents, export and online
* Insight, ideation for product development
* PoS design
* Managing, coaching and developing people
* Cross-functional leadership


Job Offer

£Competitive, 6 months contract, with a view to go permanent and progress into a Head of Marketing
