Digital Optimisation Lead - Innovative Digital Team - South London

Description

Essentially, they’re looking for a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) specialist here. With a particularly complex customer journey at times, you’ll become immersed in a testing but extremely rewarding market.

What you’ll be doing

As part of a wider team of 25, you’ll report into the Analytics Manager working closely alongside a team of 4. In the past year the business has begun using a new testing software, so your goal will be to hit the ground running as soon as possible to develop a robust testing programme. This will be formed through analysis of the customer journey, digital content and competitor information, and in turn will allow you to generate insights and personalise the customer experience. With the size of their customer base, it’s hugely exciting that relatively small (and often simple) changes will have a marked impact on optimising conversions and therefore growth online. What drives even stronger results is being able to work closely with the wider team to act on these insights. The development and digital content teams will become good friends in pushing these changes online, so being able to communicate effectively at all levels will be key.

What experience you’ll need

It will likely come as no surprise that having an analytics or testing background from another eCommerce or digital environment would allow you to thrive here. Being well versed in MVT and a/b testing, Maxymiser (or any other similar software) and having exposure to the wider digital mix (UX, analytics and content) will stand you in great stead for the role.
