Marketing Academy reveals 2015 scholars
Marketers from Paddy Power, KFC, Mondelez and British Gas are among 30 executives who will be taking part in the Marketing Academy’s Scholarship Programme this year.
Now in its sixth year, the scheme offers a year-long programme of mentoring and coaching for “rising stars” at both brands and agencies by senior marketers and business leaders. Marketing Week is a founding partner.
This year’s cohort was selected from more than 350 nominations. Those that are not successful are encouraged to apply again in future and offered learning opportunities such as Magpie Marketing Leadership Course, which is run by Scholarship alumni Sarah Ellis.
“The calibre of marketers in the UK is incredibly high and the proof is in the tough decision we have had to make in selecting the 30 who comprise the 2015 Marketing Academy Scholarship Programme,” says Marketing Academy founder Sherilyn Shackell.
The 2015 intake was unveiled at an invite-only event at Diageo’s headquarters in London.
